Today, 37 children will be diagnosed with cancer in the United States.
The average age of children at diagnosis is 6.
The impact on those children is tremendous.
60% who survive will have life-long effects
from their disease or treatment.
And, of course, many will not survive.
Help us raise awareness of childhood cancer,
raise money for research, and
support families who are facing what will most likely be
the biggest challenge of their lives.
Join us at
The Oasis Dance Club (1230 Danby Road/Rt. 96B, Ithaca)
for HAIR SHAVING FUN to benefit the St. Baldrick's Foundation
(which solely funds childhood cancer research).
We have raised nearly $200,000 over the past 4 years, and are setting our sites on going over the $250,000 mark this year! That funds a lot of research to find better treatments for children fighting cancer.
Register to shave, or make a donation to someone who is!
