Safe Chemicals Act of 2011

Get involved today!

There are many products widely used in our homes and businesses which contain chemicals that have been linked to certain types of childhood cancers. Parents often assume that the products they buy in their stores have been deemed to be safe by our government. The fact is that there is very little regulation of chemicals and that the small amount of legislation regarding this issue is 35 years old. An overhaul of our federal chemical regulation system is needed to ensure the health and safety of our children and families.

Mira's Movement has joined the Safer Chemicals, Healthy Families organization, which is working on this important issue. Please join us in supporting the passage of the Safe Chemicals Act of 2011.
